It really just p*ssed me off the way her parents treated her when she was pregnant. I know it's "the times" and everything that they live in, which makes it even more sad. But what REALLY got me was the way they treated her like crap when she kept telling them she did nothing wrong, and just wanted their help and was scared, but then they almost immediately forgive the man who raped her and put them through all of that. They treat him like God compared to the way they treated her. Gagh it makes me mad, lol.

Would you have believed her when she said that she knew nothing? I think most would not. So I understand why they did not believe her story but I agree with the rest, they acted too harshly and forgave him too easily.

It shows the double standards very well. If she had had consensual sex with him, it would be quite an unforgivable lapse, but it is not a big deal that he impregnated her without her consent.
