Jews watching Nazi get creamated

At the end of the road rage incident, the character played by Ben Dova (I love that name), was burned to death in the street where lots of Jews were leaving Yom Kippur services. Was the irony of a Nazi being cremated in front of Jews obvious or do I just have a weird perspective on things? (Be nice).

Not weird at all, and I complement you on your active imagination. Never thought of it but it's a clever observation, given the context, and regardless if the metaphor was intentional or coincidental.

Good observation. FWIW in the novel the beginning takes place in the same neighborhood which was predominately Jewish forty years ago. Szell's brother doesn't like the neighborhood because of all the Jews.
