does anyone know if the series will ever be released to dvd?

Its Coming in 2006!!!

According to this news tidbit postedon tvshowsondvd.com, Paramount plans to release it in 2006.

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, the release date is 3/4/08 - finally.

This is not the TV series The Love Boat.

This is a failed 1976 pilot, which has little in common with the TV series besides the name and a cruise ship.

I do not see any of the pilots advertised or included on the TV series DVDs.
