WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO ROSEMARY!!!?

I know she was taken away by a possessed bus, but then what? Is she dead? Is she alive? Where is she? What happened to her?

reply

She was simply whisked away, never to be seen again...later where Adrian has a vision of her in the back of the bus, pounding on the window with big bags under her eyes, which implies she's a "lost soul" or dead...but that was a dream. Ridiculous folly on the part of the writers to leave that hanging open...but then, this whole movie sorta sucked...

I think it is explained to Adrian, by Marjean, that his parent(s??) were killed in a car accident.
And Adrian asks for details, but Marjean changes the subject.

She cut her face on a metal mask, ran to the bathroom to fix it, and then she turned into a fanged, drooling monster....oh wait, that was another movie.

Ooh good Demons reference. ;-)

I thought about Rosemary much. I think the scriptwriter and the director didn't know want to do with her but they still did not want to kill her. If they did, they could show us her corpse or her grave. So Rosemary is probably alive. Maybe they planned to do another sequel when Andrew would find out about his mother's destiny. But most people didn't like the second part so the third was never made.

Maybe the bus took her down by the river to live next to Matt?!

reply

I personally think that she died. The coven had no more use for her, so why would they let her live?

I think they should have had the devil driving the bus, but I'm not so sure that he'd want something quite so innocuous on his resume, even if the bus crashed and burned.

Officer Krupke, what are we to dooooo?!?

"What the Hell Happened to Rosemary's Baby" would have been a much better title for this turkey. 
