How did she know he was going to ask for her cup of tea or did she poison both of them?

Did I miss something of them burying the bodies?

I believe she felt defeated and had intended to drink the tea herself.

Interesting, i hadn't thought of it that way. I suppose she could have felt this way though, like she coudn't go on with the lie anymore

She lived on.... at least she did in the book.
As for the movie, I assumed it was pretty obvious what she did. She managed to work it so that he would get the poison. She was quite clever.

1. She was counting on his wanting to switch the cups. Remember how suspicious he was in the beginning, asking if they were sleeping together, etc?

2. She and Mario buried the mom and Mrs. Hallett behind the pine tree when it was raining. That's how Mario caught pneumonia.
