Is it just me, or does Sam Elliot look like he's in his 40's here?

As someone who grew up on the 70s, we didn't shy away from the sun and good sunscreens weren't available until the 80s. So my guess is that since Sam grew up on the west coast, he got a lot of sun. He was probably a smoker too.

Since his character was going to his 15 year reunion, he would have been 32 or 33, and up against the boyish Parker Stevenson, he probably looked older too. Oddly enough, Parker is only 8 years younger.

Sam looks pretty damn sexy for 72 though.

Other than Elliot, Archer, and the drunk guy who pesters them, all of the other people at the reunion, who would have been thirty-two or thirty-three, appear to be in their late forties.
