I've been looking for a copy of this movie for awhile to.Someone please HELP US!!!

just try 20th century fox....they never replied to me ...but we all should not give up!.....the full uncut version is what we want.....charlton heston was disapointed by the cuts made ....if you get chance to read his "actors life" book do so.....what we with "the hills have eyes" , "straw dogs" both out now uncut on dvd to buy in the u.k ...it is now time for 20th century fox to deliver...good luck pal!...p.s...don't waste your money on copied off the tv versions.

the dvds of this movie you see on ebay are copies....taped from the tv....i have tried contacting 20th century fox about getting this film released on dvd...they have never replied to me....the film is shown in the u.k on sky tv from time to time....i wonder if they do put this out on dvd whether they will show it in it's uncut form of 106 minutes....the version i have seen is 93 minutes.....so by all means try contacting 20th century fox....you might have better luck than me....it's good to know that i am not the only one who wants this on dvd....as a fan of james coburn it is one of his best performences....good luck pal..

Thanks. I'll give 20th Century a go. Perhaps if more people keep at them they may get the message. Don't worry, you're not the only one that wants this on DVD in the full uncut version.

i have also e-mailed UNCUT DVD magazine here in the u.k about the last hard men ....they have a feature called "missing in action" ..which means movies that have never made it onto dvd....so fingers crossed!...don't give up!....at leaste there are three of us upto now going for it!...stay in touch

UNCUT's a great mag so hopefully they'll have some influence. I have caved in and purchased an eBay "widescreen" copy, will let you know what it's like when received. Two other films I'm keeping my fingers crossed get released soon are: "Wake in Fright" aka Outback, and Michael Ritchie's The Island, starring Michael Caine. Like you said, Straw Dogs and Hills Have Eyes made it, so surely these will too!!

I caved as well and bought it on vhs at ebay.It was like you said harry recorded from T.V. however the quality was surprisingly good.But I'll still join you guys on the anticipation of the UNCUT version.

Yes, my DVD copy that I bought on eBay is the TV version but like Justin1-2's copy, it is a good copy.

This is on Sky at the moment. Just downloaded it from Sky by broadband - worth checking out if you have Sky and broadband.

In the U.S. go to i-offer.com 2 sellers have dvdr for sale, one says his is widescreen, don't know the source as I have not ordered one as yet, but for $9.99 I think i will give one a try.

Just saw a Target ( Retail chain in Australia) catalogue that has the Region 4 DVD advertised on special for AUD12.99. I'm getting a copy tomorrow!!

could you tell me if the artwork is the same as the spainish release & also if there are any special features on the dvd like a trailer

The artwork looks to be the same as the Spanish release but in English. Unfortunately no special features at all, just the website for fox.uk and fox international. It is in widescreen 2.35:1 and 2.0 Mono audio. Running time 93 min PAL, Region 4. Hope that helps.

Shout! Factory is releasing this film early next year on a doublebill with "Sky Riders;" you can already pre-order it on Amazon.
