seemed liked a bad TV movie. gave it a 3. jeesh

No way. Not perfect, but no where near a 3. A solid 7.5. Very entertaining.

The alter scene is an incredible scene and one of my all time favorites.

Yes, Kong's first appearance is built up VERY well. I actually love this movie until it moves off Skull Island. Same with the '05 version.
