Too many scenes with the strip club host

I'm 2/3 of the way into this thing, and the boring, old, ugly fat guy with the makeup and droll voice who is accompanied by strippers is being shown yet again. It's at least the third time I've seen a long scene with this guy.

Cassavettes was obviously far too in love with this dude's stage act. It does absolutely nothing for the film.




