Comparing the Original and the Remake

I was hoping that someone whose seen the remake can comment on the two films and which one they think is better as far as films go as well as which one is more faithful to the book.

Sorry didnt read the book but the original is way better inho. Keach is way better than Affleck and amazing as usual.

They remake is far more faithful, but neither do it justice. The original is a bit better paced and acted, but both are pretty disappointing overall.
