Is fun to watch anytime of the year...but especially in october. This movie reminds me of a time when kids like myself actually went outside and got into some harmless trouble and had fun. I have several coming of age movies that are my favorite to watch and this is high on the list. Even though it was filmed in long beach it looks similar to the san fernando valley of the late 70's early 80's

Well off the top of my head another favorite is Stand by Me. There was another favorite with Bruce Campbell...it's old and low budget but fun to watch for some odd reason lol. The name slips my mind so I'll get the name for ya.
The name of the other movie with Bruce Campbell is called Going Back. Maybe see if you can rent it somewhere instead of buying it. I personally liked it alot but everyone is different.
