Just dropping a note into the forum to say that this movie has been released on DVD in the US (not sure about other regions) so people don't have to keep getting it from seconhand bootlegs and watching nearly-worn-out copies taped of HBO in the mid-80's! I just got mine for Christmas, bought off Amazon.com. Thanks Hen's Tooth!

Did u still like it? Myself i got goose stand in some of the scene´s of pure nostalgia. it started with that charming but stressed "miracles happens" scene when the beanstalk grow´s up to the sky. That "are u happy" wedding song/scene is one of the most wicked ever.
One of the things i noted....the picture are almost perfect, Hens tooth must have borrowed the bootlegs of this movie.
I think im gonna watch it again today.

Well, while the picture and audio of course could have been remastered and brought up to regular DVD quality that we've come to expect these days, it's definitely a whole heck of a lot better than bootlegs. Overall I am just plain happy that the movie is available at all :)
shareWooohoo... Can't wait to see this movie again!!! Really loved it as a kid, wached it over and over again and never got tired of it, and I'm sure my kids will love it too!
Soo many of my favourites are soo hard to get hold of ie. Candy,Candy and Hello Sandybell (at least in a language I understand)...

No kids yet, but will ensure they watch this as I did as a child!
