To native German Speakers ... what did Steiner say?

This was the scene, demarcation, where Steiner's squad gets butchered and he says to the German sentry ... 'Go get my men! I said go get my men now1 'Steitz-va-kahlen!' ... bloody Nazi Swein.'

I do not speak German and I attempted to spell the word phonetically, it could have been 'Steitz-va-kahlen! or 'Scheitz-a-Kalen' or something different. All I know is that Steiner was extremely angry and this was like saying 'Hurry Up' but in a vulgur way.

Thanks. Your explanation makes a lot of sense, especially since the Germans would always speak English except when they sang, so your explanation is consistent with that rule.

I also mis-heard another line early in the movie when Col. Brandt was talking to Lt. Meyer:
Brandt - 'What kind of shape are they in?'
Meyer - 'The usual'
Brandt - 'Have them give me a full report after they are rested.' <-- I thought I heard him say, 'after they are arrested' and this puzzled me, I was wondering if this squad was some type of well known rogue outfit that always gets into trouble.

I see that the blu-ray DVD has great video (probably audio as well) and I would love to buy it but I have only found the U.K. version and I am worried that I will not be able to play it in the U.S. because of the stupid region codes.

I am more than happy to compensate the producer, I just want to get the content, I wish it was available on download as it also contains some interviews.

I would have to see it again. The audio in this film is not always great. Sometimes the English of the German actors (dubbed?) is not very clear. Although Captain Kiesler is played by an English actor, I used to puzzle over him saying "Steiner is a miss" until I realised that he was saying "Steiner is a myth" but his attempt at a German accent was causing some confusion.
