Star Wars VII

The last bits of Heart of Glass, with its amazing scene of isolated figures on sheer cliffs, reminded me not a little bit of the lone Skywalker Jedi-monk on the cliffside from Star Wars VII "The Force Returns." Just now I read that Herzog shot that on Skellig off the coast of Ireland -- where Star Wars was shot! Did JJ Abrams appropriate imagery from "Heart of Glass"? (Cuz basically that is J.J. Abrams thing)
