After looking this, I feel like I must be a pretty stingy rater, considering that I call Herzog my favorite director. But I did give five of his films perfect ratings, and I've only given about 80 of those out of the 1,600ish movies I've seen?

What do you think of "My Son, My Son, What Have Ye Done", "The Wild Blue Yonder" and "Signs of Life"?
IMO some of his best.

(Actually, I still need to watch the last two episodes of Boardwalk Empire. Watching Michael Shannon go crazy first could cause confusion.)

That was fun. Seeing this list... I've seen quite a few of his films now, haven't I? At least I think I have if you consider he's only been my favourite filmmaker, that is, I've only really been digging deeper into his catalogue of films, for the last 8 months or so. And I think I've been trying to spread them out, it has not at all felt like I've been only watching his films... I'm trying to savour them. Not counting shorts, I've seen 24/45 of his films... so I've still got plenty to savour, apparently.

I just saw Heart of Glass for the first time quite recently (and I've watched it a couple more times already since). I had thought I already knew by now most of the ridiculous things he's done for his films, but I had no idea about the hypnosis thing, and I thought that by now I'd seen at least the very best of his films, but it's my new favourite. His back-catalogue continues to surprise and delight.

Hey guys, isn't Herzog great?
