Funny how singing about America when fighting for a non-American concept

The concept of unions are about as non-American as you can get.

Unions -
#1 -try to force a wage onto the employer instead of allowing market to decide
wage
#2 - exist only so the union bosses get rich as they care zero for the people
paying into the union (that is an American concept)
#3 - want everyone paid the same no matter of skill level or job performance
#4 - force everyone to join whether you want or not
#5 - bully companies through violence if they don't want 2nd rate performance
for first rate wages

A forced type of socialism but during these protests, they sing of America.. It is pretty funny

The concept of corporations is about as non-American as you can get.

Corporations -
#1 - succeed in forcing low wages onto employees due to markets rigged by executive elites in collusion with right wing politicians.
#2 - exist only so the CEOs and major shareholders get rich as they care zero for the workers who actually generate the corporation's wealth.
#3 - want everyone paid the same (i.e., *beep* wages) no matter your skill level or job performance
#4 - force everyone to either work in their economic system whether they want to or not - or starve as an alternative.
#5 - bully workers, citizens, and government through structures of violence that steal the value of work from employees, treat employees like expendable cogs (and that's on a good day), rape the environment, bribe government via lobbyists and political donations and, of course, cheat on their taxes (every rich guy's favorite pastime, after golf).

A forced type of capitalist authoritarianism, yet they sing of America. It would be pretty funny if it weren't so true and disgusting.

If a company can monopolize all the employment in a COUNTY, unionization is a must. The workers shown here had no other place to work with a viable wage. Companies will take advantage of that.

Highly recommend this award winning documentary to any history buff. No commentary or opinions by the film crew, some pretty startling events occur.
