It truly is. Both actors are more believable than in this old version. They were also more attractive than Peter and Jill, and their chemistry was better, on screen. I've seen both, and was much more touched by the new one, to be honest.

I respectfully disagree
Peter Falk has never been better, the film is not about attractive people it is about real people in a real situation.
For me personally, and I may be wrong myself this version is a film, the remake is movie fluff.
Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead.
