I saw this in the movies

This actually opened in New York, the whole thing plays like a porno movie with no sex.

I agree, it's gross.

Professional Jayne Mansfield fanatic/loverâ„¢ since 1980.

This film sounds horrible ... so why do I want to see it?

I also saw this in New York in a theater in 1976. I don't think it made MM look like a tramp, I think it made her look like she had borderline mental retardation.

Well, I can't say you didn't warn me, but I found a cheap copy for $1.50, and after watching it, I realize I severely overpaid for this piece of trash. Not only is this seedy and tawdry to the max, it's also downright boring and the scenes go on forever.

There's no real plot to speak of, other than Marilyn's assorted (mis)adventures with the pariahs of the world, from her stepfather to the police to the Hollywood low-lifes she repeatedly encountered (at least in this fictional film). Then when they can't figure out how to end the film, they just run the credits.

Two things I did like, though: the song "Norma Jean Wants to Be a Movie Star" and the sunglasses of the lesbian casting agent.

Time for a good shower now.

I saw it in my hometown theater in East Texas. The only thing I remember about it is her final line in the projection booth as she watches the movie that's supposed to make her a star.

I wonder what the final line was?
