Archer has horrible taste in movies apparently.

I got really sick a couple weeks ago, and ended up watching Archer season 3, which contains one of my favorite episodes The Man From Jupiter (the episode with Burt Reynolds if you don't know them by the titles). It gave me the desire to watch White Lightning and Gator, and boy was I surprised. I was born in the 80's, so these movies predated me by a bit, but I've always been able to enjoy old action movies regardless (I'm a big Bond fan despite Licence to Kill being the first one I ever saw).

If I hadn't been laughing about how bad Gator was throughout, I probably would have considered it one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The level of bad transcends logic, but in a very amusing way. My final conclusion is that this movie is rated higher than it really should be because of how much Archer loves it. Best I could say is I was entertained, but I doubt I will ever feel compelled to watch them again, and not in a There Will Be Blood or Requiem For A Dream hard to watch again kind of a way, but in a "please god don't make me do it again" kind of way.

Stop trying to poke holes in the plot and enjoy the ride.
