I am avidly hunting the DVD or VHS or tape or CD of the movie and the song. I wish I could see this movie again. Is there a club or meeting established to invite members to again see this movie on big screen? If anyone has info where to buy this song or movie, please contact me ASAP, so appreciated.
This month (July 2007) Varese Sarabande Records are releasing the soundtrack music from this film, which, of course, includes the song "Hello and Goodbye".
shareLooking for that soundtrack. Got the single on e-bay and not so good. Over produced and weak. If you see the movie on Turner, record it. Only US Widecreen version available. If you have a multi region DVD player, get the Japanese DVD. A nice special feature is a menu for all music cues in the movie. They only play one at a time, but still nice to listen because the soundtrack is quite unique. A little trivia about the soundtrack: Hello and Goodbye was written by Bernstein, along with Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Elmer and Alan show up in a cameo to introduce the song!
