jere burns was great as morgan!
he was amazing the lead role...his transition from star wide receiver to heroic outdoorsman/explosives expert was utterly seamless. the breadth of jere's skill is truly unfathomable!!!
shareJere did exhibit some pretty daring and brave moments in this epic saga. However I felt that overall it was all for not in that he abandoned his group of friends on more than one occasion. He always seemed to have the plan and run off leaving the gang to fend for themselves against those pesky rats. Was this exemplary of his sports career? If so, there's no way he could have led his team to victory.
Despite the resemblance, Morgan is actually played by Marjoe Gortner in this film. Different guy, sorry. Jere Burns is great though.
Marjoe however, the star of this film, started out as a child evangelist and transitioned into acting (or perhaps merely became more upfront about the acting thing) after the documentary Marjoe was released.
