I saw this as a child and it has haunted me ever since. The scene where the thug bashes the woman's face into a wall while people watched is one of the most disturbing in cinema history, and I have seen a lot of so-called shocking films.
I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it.
I'm really surprised that it isn't on DVD but probably will be. Yes, that scene was disturbing but the entire film was quite haunting and murky.
shareYou got it wrong brother. The most shocking scene in cinematic history occurs later in the film when Lansing has his 'conniption fit' on the sofa. This has to be one of the worst acting performances ever; while simultaneously being one of the funniest. This scene gets multiple replays whenever I need a good chuckle.
