Man this one was the worst...

Look, his partner is a woman! Wow! I've only seen the first three, I'm renting them in order and I must say this one was terrible. In DH, he has a white guy for a partner, in Magnum Force he has a black guy, and in this one he has a woman for a partner. I can't wait to see his partner in the next two movies. Probably a gay guy and then a guy with a handicap. C'mon people this is getting plain old ridiculous.

Also, anyone notice that for a movie set in San Fran...it sure is harsh towards gay people. Just a thought.

I disagree. I think The Enforcer is a great movie.

To Personnel? That's for ass holes!

And the feminist theme was quite remarkable for its time.

reply

His partner in the first movie was actually latino, but whatever, you are an idiot.

What's wrong with Harry's partners? What's wrong with a partner that is Latino, black, female, or Asian?

hey wendi
after reading several of your commentaries, i'm wondering if you ever have anything to say that isn't negative. you're either bashing an actor/actress for their looks or acting abilities, or making one-sided, uninformed observations, such as your statements about serial killers. it must be nice to go through life being an expert on everything. by the way, its LAWS rocket, not lars.

I liked the fact that the producers incorporated a female partner for Harry in The Enforcer, I just wish they had done more to develop the relationship between the two characters.

I feel that The Enforcer was a potentially awesome film that was let down by several factors and one of them was the lack of spark between Clint and Tyne Daly. Daly is a wonderful actress but I really think the producers left her character short of substance. In my mind, her character appeared to spend the vast majority of the film running after Harry like a maniac. There seemed to be very little character development between the two and, as a result, I felt that the relationship between the cops suffered greatly. Yes, it was emotional when Daly's character got shot and killed but I felt there was a lack of a greater connection between the two during this pivotal scene on account of the fact that their relationship was never given the chance to blossom. I'm not saying they had to jump into bed or anything but it would have been far more beneficial towards the movie as a whole if their relationship had bonded them much more closer together.

Yes. Diversity is such a terrible thing.

The female character was handled really, really well because it didn't take away from the Dirty Harry character..........and at the same time, she's still able to be her own character, Harry plays off her well, and Harry learns something from her.

It's a smart movie, and it has all the action and witty lines you expect from a Dirty Harry film.

Great film, 3rd best out of the 5 movies in my book.

None were as good as the original, but I liked this one. I like it better than Magnum Force.
