A masterpiece! Chuck Griffith rocks!
I think this is the best thing Howard has ever been associated, and it makes me sick that he looks back at it all shame-faced. It's far more respectable than all the sh!t he's directed.
It has brilliant writing (second only to Preston Sturges, and William Rose, for post-Slapstick genius) and the director is excellent.
