Devlins Cottage
Have been to the village where the film was made and know where most of the locations are but can anyone tell me where Devlins Marsh Wardens cottage is?
shareI dont think its in Mapledurham, probably at the other location they had near a coast. I havent seen the film for ages though so i mught be getting confused. if it is depicted as in the village then it may be a fake building the filmakers placed there? The South African traitors cottage is still very recognisable though.
shareYeah, its the first house you see on the right on the road into Mapledurham, just as you see in the film
shareI also went to Mapledurham many,many years ago and looked in vain for Devlin's cottage; Having done a little research , I beleive it was a set built from scratch inside and out
