On part I didn't understand was how did Michael die? He was in the college and survived the massacre but later he was found dead in the middle of nowhere??

I think this is great for a low budget horror flick. And as a huge "Dallas" fan, it's great to see Linda Gray in a pre-Sue Ellen role. But David McCallum is the movie's MVP. What a great performance in the lead role. As for Michael's death, I guess the dogs got him. We see relatively little of the attacks in the movie; mostly just the before and after, I guess because their resources were so limited. Interestingly, this is the first movie I ever remember seeing advertised on TV. I was five years old at the time.

I know it's been 5 years since you asked, but I have an idea about Michael's death. After the school attack is over and he looks at the female student's dead body, he gets up and has a look on his face of what I saw as both shock and hopelessness. He then heads into the darkness, as if he doesn't see any way to stop the dogs and is hopeless. Seeing as it's still dark and the dogs are still out, they probably found him and killed him without a fight on his part. Just a theory.

Of course you mean Michael Jackson's version of BAD! Which means good. This movie is 8/10. Maybe you should stick to Julia Roberts and Leo DiCaprio movies.

yeah, baby. i couldn't have said it better. here's to all the cheesy low budget horror pix, thrillers, sci fi films, and disaster pictures. slick, mainstream hollywood can take its arse to hell....

but i gave "dogs" a full TEN. long may it wag its funky tail.

I agree, far from bad. A good movie if you like this sort of thing.

I'm going to watch it this weekend, and I'm super excited.

Nah, this is one of the better killer dog movies. It's low budget and cheesy, but I love it. Especially the ending and school attack.
