I just watched the Xenon Pictures version of this and the ending cuts off abruptly. There may be other oddities that I just didn't notice, but that was the one that stuck out most. Considering their version of Dolemite has numerous jump-cuts and their version of The Human Tornado is missing a whole 10 minutes of material, it would no surprise me if Disco Godfather were similarly truncated.
Would anybody happen to know what would be missing from Disco Godfather, if anything?
I'm not sure theres any alternate version of Disco Godfather as this is the only one I'm familiar with that has the abrupt ending after Tucker whacks out.
But you are right that there are multiple versions of The Human Tornado.

Actually the ending was cut by a little his face is suposed to turn evil and cartoony looking after he says "Theres nothing wrong wit me AHHHHHH". Sadly my attempts to find this VHS has failed as I had seen this version well over 20 years ago during the late 80's very early 90's. Dont know why it was cut tbqh.

It just ran on November 10th on TCM...I'm going to watch to see how the ending is.
shareI also watched it on TCM - it does cut off abruptly at the end and if you slow it down you can see a flash of the "cartoony" face they must have ended with originally right before it cuts off. TCM generally shows the best prints available but not always. If there's a more complete print available I'd be interested too.
