I have known for years the story about "Sister Aimee" Semple McPherson, having
heard it from my late father (who attended the Angelus Temple with friends, during
a brief stay in Los Angeles so many, many years ago.)
However, I'm particularly intrigued by one of the characters: the jittery,
defensive "cub reporter," Wallace Moore, played by the late (and highly talented) Barry Brown.
I've been trying to run down the name in Google, and have come up empty-handed.
Was Wallace Moore an actual reporter for the Santa Barbara newspaper, or was he a fictional character written into the script just to"spice up" the plot? I'd really like to know. Thanks.
