...it's been cut. I quit watching after five minutes, there was so much missing even then. Netflix got their version from Castle Hill, which delights in releasing censored versions of PG and R movies. I can't wait for Castle Hill to go out of business.

Distorty, I was so busy ranting about the censoring that I forgot to bring up the other, very important issue of the 4:3 cropping; thanks for stepping up and mentioning this other atrocity committed by Castle Hill.
On a positive note: I am SO glad that I picked up a VHS copy years ago, which I've backed up on DVD. This version is 4:3, but at least it's uncut. Half a loaf is better than none.
And I'll never forget the night in early 1977 when I saw DEADLY HERO on the Big Screen--at the Drive-In, on a triple-bill with TRACKDOWN and THE ENFORCER. Ah, sweet memories...
