Is there a good WS dvd release with an English audio track?

Nice that Universal finally released this for R1, but like all the studio's made-on-demand discs, they took the lazy way out and only released one audio track for the film, the italian with subs.

I saw the film (twice) many years ago upon first release, and my memories of it come from the English version (I won't say "dubbed", because all Italian films were dubbed in the 70s, even the Italian track). I'd like to get that version again on disc...anyone know of a release with it (that isn't a 2nd or 3rd generation copy?)

This is very hard to read, isn't it?

The R4 Australian DVD from Umbrella Entertainment only has the english soundtrack on it. You can order it from their website:

You absolutely sure about that, chief? As in, you actually have the disc?

If you read the Product Details on that page you'll notice under "Language" it makes no mention of having an English audio track. And there's no option of looking at the back cover, either.

I'm really sick of paying MORE for stuff...and getting LESS of it!

I own the DVD and it really is the only track. There's also an english trailer.
I was surprised at first there was no italian track, but I liked hearing Donald Sutherland's voice in english.

However the Australian disc is 4x3 letterbox edition of the film.

The best bet is the Region B Blu Ray from France, which has a choice of English, French or Italian track.

If you select the track you have forced French subtitles but these can be removed via the 'dislay' button on the blu ray remote.

It's 1:78:1 with beautiful picture quality and is the 155 version of the film.
