Differences between 166 min and 148 min versions

The Italian (and European, I think) version of the "Casanova" lasts about 148 min, while the American version lasts about 166 min: anybody knows what scenes where cut in the Italian version?

what the 'f' are you talking about??... this film has only been released in North America on a crappy VHS (that only runs 113 minutes) and laserdisc (the full 155 minutes)...

so where does 148 minutes and 166 minutes come from??... people like you are ruining IMDB.
