Still better than all the sequels and remakes BUT... SPOILERS

This time I watched it, I felt they could have showed a little more of Carrie's telekinetics and her mother's reaction to it. She pops the bulb in the change room, flips the principal's ashtray reads some paranormal books and moves some stuff around at home and restrains her mom, who whispers "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live". Then it's off to the apocalypse prom and back home for the mother-daughter death-match and destroying the house. This time around watching, the ending almost seemed to come out of nowhere. There was so much focus on the high school drama that you kind of forget all about the telekineses powers she has.

I thought the movie was good. A bit overrated, but still a good watch.
