Did Helen die?

In case you don't remember, Helen is the bully with giant glasses. She barely has any dialogue, but the camera focuses on her enough for her to be a memorable character.

However, it's left ambiguous if she died or not. She's last seen laughing at Carrie in her hallucination, but after that, seems to disappear. She was presumably trapped in the burning building, but in The Rage: Carrie 2, Sue states that several people survived the Black Prom, and refused to ever speak of it.

So, was Helen one of the survivors? Frankly, I'd like to believe that frumpy hoe died, but I wanna know if there's proof.

Now that is something I've always wondered myself. Sue's mother mentioned that Tommy and everyone else (Sue's friends) were gone so I'm assuming that perhaps Helen did.

In fact, you can see her slumped over a table in various shots during the chaos. The pressure from the firehose knocked the life out of her. You can see her remains slumped over an overturned table just shortly after the firehose was activated.

Yeah Look I pretend Carrie 2 never happened that was 23 years later!!! they never had it in mind. so when this was made. everyone died even the teacher that was the only nice person to her and Tommy who was also nice but was knocked out. there was no way any of the nasty people were going to survive. Sue only suvived because she got kicked out by the teacher who thought she was going off because Carrie was kissing her Boyfriend. had that not happened Sue would have been good as dead as well everyone in that building died good and bad
