it's at the 35 minute mark, with John Travolta and a female who are parked...

I heard the lyric "drive-in" -- very hard to make them out with the two talking (Travolta slaps her during the song)

I usually find songs doing a search, but I can't find it..

Lady Lay is the name of song. I believe it's by Vance or Towers who performed at the prom. But, it's unavailable.
