What did Mr. Snell say on the phone?

I kinda heard it, when Mrs. Snell takes the call with Carries mother there. Something about accusing him..

That was actually the soap opera she was watching. It's a little confusing but if you listen closely you'll hear that Mrs.Snell is actually talking to Betty and telling her that Margaret White is in her house and she'll call Betty back after she gets rid of Margaret. At one point you can hear a man's voice saying "Are you accusing ME?" That is coming from Mrs.Snell's TV.

Mr snell had a speaking part in this???

in any event right before mrs white comes in mrs snell is watching some dopey, badly written soap opera about some dude named Bill going to Chicago. Mrs snell is watching it on this ridiculously small portable television set in the living room [literally, it was the size of one of those coleman camping tv sets!] and she is enjoying one can only guess a mixed cocktail.

the entire conversation is so dopey.
Were you in Chicago two years ago?
Chicago?
Yes, Bill, Chicago.
Yes, I was living in Chicago. You knew that. I told you that.
No, you didn't. I found out.

mrs white comes over to spread gospel of god's salvation though Christ's blood.

when mrs snell goes to answer a telephone call from BETTY the chicaco accusation conversation continues...

and now... i'm going to KILL YOU!!!!

Oh God. Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.
