high school girl. During the prom scene, her eyes creeped me out so bad. The fact that
she used her telekinetic powers with her eyes was truly horrifying.

Yes, she was most definitely the best Carrie. The range of emotions Sissy Spacek portrayed was what I should imagine got her the Oscar nomination. It feels like she really committed herself to playing the role and playing it well. A completely natural and unselfconscious performance. And yes, her eyes during the Prom destruction scene are terrifying. Sometimes angry as hell and sometimes hurt as hell.
