She's almost unrecognizably skinny 11 years later as Melissa Steadman in "Thirtysomething," but her character was so smart and quirky she still turned my crank.
I hadn't even seen this movie until somewhat recently, but she was beautiful in this film. Makes me wonder how with such soft and touchable looking women like this in the world, that ppl these days want after these terribly skinny women with legs like rails and bodies that only go straight up from there without a curve to be found.
She also had a bit of a double chin thing kind of happening, and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I find that totally sexy. I can't help what I like, and I don't apologize for it :)
Melanie had some work done after Car Wash. Back in the 90s, she was the voice of Chrysler.

that's unforgivable having breast reduction surgery. why in the world would a girl do that? there are girls who would kill for medium or big tits and then you go and take away your medium or big tits? that's so disrespectful to your body and God. that's also so disrespectful to girls who want medium or big tits.
what they should do is take a girl's tits parts that were taken off in breast reduction surgery and use them to fill girl's tits who are getting breast augmentation surgery, its' called tits recycling, or feeding starving people with food you don't need. then they aren't wasting their tits parts and their tits parts are being put to good use.
In an interview in the '80's, Melanie Matron said she lost weight by simply not eating until she lost the weight. She admitted it was not a good idea.
