FIRST TIME I SAW THIS...

Sometimes you never forget your "first time." My dad was one of the very first HBO subscribers in the country. The test market was actully in Northeast Pennsylvania where we lived (and still live).

This played on HBO uncut in 1977. He let me watch it with him one evening (much to my mom's chagrin). I was 6 years old at the time and NEVER forgot it. Tame film...but one of my very first exposures to the glorious world of the exploitation film.

Three movies stuck with me from around that same time -- CANNONBALL, THE CAR and VANISHING POINT.
