What the Hell is the point of this movie?

So we're lead to believe there is a 1920s world where children are adults.

This movie has no point to it. It's embarrassing, badly acted, utter rubbish.

Obviously we're not to believe such a world existed. It's a parody of gangster films and gangster culture. I think by showing children as criminals it shows us how futile and childish the world of crime can be and it reminds us that underneath all the bravado criminals are just people, who one day were nothing but children themselves.

I agree with Paul UK.Movies are a great way to tell stories,from the best to the worst and all in between.

I especially hate the Disney movies where we are led to believe there's a world of talking animals that sing songs. Utter rubbish.

The idea is that gang violence is a juvenile pass time, and only people who are not fully developed engage in it.

Untrue, of course, but that is the film's gist.

It's just a quirky little parody of gangster movies with all adults replaced by kids instead.
