Why is it rated R?
Could you please tell me.
Go MISCHA/Marrissa
Well, it's tame by today's standards, but back when the film was made, pretty much any usage of an f-bomb would get you an R-rating. Plus there's the chicks being burned alive scene and other silliness that today would get a PG or PG-13. Plus the whole drug theme in general probably went a ways to getting it an R rating.
