Does anyone know for certain if the early VHS copies of this movie are unedited? It is rumored that they are, but I'd like to hear it from someone who actually owns an unedited copy.

Nudity and swearing. I have the cut version, it is a pretty funny scene in it where Chavez pulls down Synn's top and it just skips to scene where Sand is fighting Chavez.

I own both but my VCR is broken. The DVD is ridiculously cut, and in some sections, overdubbed for no apparent (?) reason.
shareI notice this stupid overdubbing during the later fight scenes. It sounds like some film geek/idiots were attempting humor by adding in silly dialog. It weakens the impact of the movie, but doesn't ruin it. I would like to see the VHS version to see the other differences. I wonder why they cut it and altered it for dvd release.

There are so many different dvd releases of this title, from different companies. I guess the only way to find if any are uncut is to buy them all an watch them. This movie is so great that it is almost worth the investment for a chance to find an uncut version..
