American Werewolf Connection???

Was it just me or was the squacks that came from the large bird killer creatures the same as the killer nazi zombies in 'an american werewolf in london'

Did John Landis somehow sample the sounds from this movie??????/

The producers of both films probably used this "stock" sound footage from a shared vault. The same screeching sound effect can be heard in the movie "Krull" whenever one of the enemy soldiers is killed.

There's a large library of Sound Effects that lots of movie producers and directors use over and over again. Like "Lightning", telephone rings, "punching" or "fighting" sounds, various Monster roars and then there's the famous "Wilhelm Scream".

The scream you heard in both "At the Earth's Core" and "American Werewolf" most likely predates both movies.

-Peter Cushing as C-3PO before C-3PO existed.
-The Ewok celebration scene at the end.
-Also Lucas was obviously a fan of "man on large animal-like monster fights" like what can be found in Burroughs books.
- The princess is a dark-haired beauty who was briefly enslaved where chains were involved and as well as exposed half-breasts.

Is all this coincidence? I think not!
