Who Designed the Creatures?

I always fancied the out-of-this-world quality of the creatures featured in At The Earth's Core. The end credits, unlike The Land That Time Forgot, do not list anyone specifically for the creation of the monsters. I am going to assume it was Maurice Carter, the production designer, but I would like to know for sure. It is proving more difficult than I imagined to dig up information about these great Kevin Connor fantasy films. Anybody know anything?

Thank goodness for Famous Monsters of Film land. I wish I had all of my back issues but I foolishly let them vanish in the hurricane of my youth! Thanks for posting. Cheers, B

Awful movie,waste of talented cast. The creatures were terrible looking... no wonder no one is credit for it. Where was Ray Harryhausen when you need him.
