Horrible..tried watching this...and I LOVED the 400 blows but this was ridiculous. I had to stop watching after the comical cheesy hollywood type scene where the kid falls from a 4 story apartment and lands unhurt and laughing??? and the mom faints?....terrible...absolutely awful. I love crap like this that people try to delve into and think they are so sophisticated doing so, but in reality it's blatant garbage.
shareI have to agree, we watched this movie in French class and I'm not one to critisize movies, but this one's pretty bad. There was no real plot in my opinion and nothing interesting happened. The boy falling from the high building was kind of funny though because it was so over the top : )

Um, I delve into it and I don't feel "sophisticated" when I do it. I enjoy it because I appreciate the architecture, culture from France. It is fun to watch an old film from another time. You really do have to have that natural inclination to watch something like this. At the same time though, if you don't like the film, that's cool too, but to make generalizations about people who like this film is not fair.
