Breast Exposure + 2 young girls making out w/1 boy

I can't believe children's cartoon's on saturdays can have so much violence, but if you show a woman's breast or nipple nowadays it has to pg-13 or R. Like the entertainment industry, or politician's, think only when we see nudeness of the FEMALE kind(nothing wrong with showing all theses virtually naked boys and their breasts), we need to be careful of our kids and be with them to watch the show.

America needs to grow up. When a brief showing of a woman's nipple(Janet Jackson) causes so much trouble there must be something wrong. I'd like a rating of PG-"Cover Your eyes", for when movies show the bare chest of middle aged, fat ugly men in movies. To me, that should be censored!!

This movie was good. The only thing that got me was showing how "easy" young french girls are(the scene where the young boy makes out with 2 girls.) Maybe it was a tie in to the newsreel showing of how easy older, young adult french girls were with the US Army GI's when they liberated France during WWII.

However, men's genitalia is seen to be even more beyond the pale, despite Janet Jackson-gate. In films, mens genitalia often give the film an NC-17 rating, or have it taken out due to pressure by the MPAA

reply

Sideways and The Crying Game weren't NC-17, they were rated R.

This is why I said "often" instead of "all the time". Make sure to read all the words that someone writes when you comment on them next time.

reply

yeah, I know. I was just saying. ya know, giving examples, those were the first two that I thought of.

He's made it very artistic. The girl washing is so far away, and the window is so dusty, she could be a painting. Are kids today "protected" from fine art?

I'm all right, I'm alllll right!

All films use exploitation of some kind. I think that Hollywood has determined that it can show a penis without causing too much commotion. And it sure as hell will get the Female audience to flock to the theatres.
European films have always relied on sexploitation. It has been there since day dot. This is why European film goers take it for granted. Explicit Gay sex and Underage Girls and Boys in compromising situations.
Film makers have an obligation to financial backers to make films that will make money. Who was it that coined the phrase "Sex Sells"

IMHO maybe they're just more relaxed and enlightened. And if they 'take it for granted', the novelty has worn off in any case?

reply

Yes, they are!! I've worked in art museums, and if we have an exhibition that includes pretty much ANY sort of nudity (male or female), the K-12 classes pretty much aren't allowed to come see them!!
