MSNBC

When do they ever show movies anyway? Well, lately they've shown "All the President's Men" in a lame attempt to plant the seed idea that Trump's troubles are on the level of Watergate scandal. So lame and transparent.

I noticed that. It's clear there's a massive tug of war between two very powerful forces--the one responsible for mass media, and the one responsible for Trump.

The seed was planted long before MSNBC ran this film. A big tree has grown and rotting fruit is falling off.

Forget I ever used the phrase "plant the seed." My main point is that MSNBC will only go out of their way to present a movie if it shows Republicans in a bad light and, apparently, if it could be perceived as applicable to a sitting Republican president. Will they interrupt their usual programming to bring you the film "Chappaquiddick"? Of course not. No besmirching of Democrats is allowed. And what Ted Kennedy (likely) did dwarfs the crimes of Trump and Nixon put together, times a thousand. Kennedy used his political status to slither his way out of jail for negligent homicide, and a particularly gruesome and cruel one at that. But no, the likes of MSNBC will pretend and push the propaganda that all the political evil in this world lies in the Republican party.
