Twin Peaks

In these weird, obscure movies' boards, it's an unofficial rule we must have a David Lynch similarity thread, so I may as well start it. This movie resembles Twin Peaks a lot, especially the final episodes, when Agent Cooper is trapped inside the Black Lodge. We have a protagonist inside a space, being held there by evil spirits, unable to leave in spite of many attempts, and where logic breaks down.

Damn straight. And it also bears a strong resemblence to (an almost equally obscure) American indie movie Carnival Of Souls from 1962. Which, while technically cruder due to the nonexistent budget, is arguably an even more impressive take on a confused, limbo-dwelling character running in absurd circles.

Yes, I also thought of Carnival of Souls. It's one of the best B movies ever made.
