I agree that using the word "America" to mean "the United States" is extremely ignorant and ethnocentric. But we're not all that ignorant here.

Considering Canadians refer to US citizens as Americans, I think the relative uses of the word need to be addressed as they exist in the vernacular, not as a method of bashing us as an ignorant people.

Everyone around the world refers to US citizens as "americans" sorry that you people from Mexico or Brazil feel left out but take it up with the rest of the world instead of acting like it's down to "ignorant" Americans. We've been called Americans for hundreds of years, it has nothing to do with ignorance.

They ALL refer to themselves by their country. Mexicans, Brazilians, Canadians, Peruvians, Costa Ricans, you get the idea.
When we say Americans, you know exactly what country we are referring to. Yes, the continents have America in their names, but the citizens of those other countries have never referred to themselves as Americans. Just like most people in Europe refer to themselves as Scottish, English, French, etc., not just European.

The man (romic1) was simply expressing his opinion about the movie, there's no need to chastise him for that.
Although, I would have to disagree with him and perhaps he has to see the intrinsic and artistic value of the film rather than just focusing on its apparent 'pornographic' aspect. Not only does the film deliver such a powerful theme and universal message it shows you what such obsessiveness and power there is with sex.

It's Irony, which is saying the opposite of what you mean. Sarcasm is about hurting people with your remarks or jokes.
Since he doesn't address people to be hurt by his joke, I think the proper word for it is irony.

Many scenes appear so, but I think no - the penetration is well concealed and appears real. However, non-penetrative sex abounds in this movie.
