I have difficulty liking this movie

I am halfway through this movie but many things bother me. This isn’t a very old movie but the techniques and acting seem very amateurish. The scenes are cut abruptly, the scenes are often unbelievable, and the acting doesn’t seem very good. Then you add this strange choice of bringing so many foreign actors to play in the movie and then dubbing their words that don’t synch well with their lips. The director is very famous and has many great movies so I can’t say that he doesn’t know how to direct. But then why the movie is like this? Anyone else has noticed this?
