Anyone else feel its a shame that Nathaniel Taylor wasn't given more to do on the show? I guess its possible that he may very well have had the show not been cancelled prematurely.

I'm just so used to him as Rollo on Sanford & Son - even if the Ike character is pretty similar (both are perpetual liars, have gambling problems, are opportunists, etc.). Whereas Rollo was always very smooth and slick, though, Ike was temperamental and aggressive (like the difference between a sly fox and a ravenous wolf).

I actually think its a shame Taylor didn't get more work in general on television. I like watching him in most everything.

There was a documentary centered around him that was released last year called "Auditioning for Nathaniel" that isn't on YouTube - but otherwise looks like his last credit was a couple Red Foxx show episodes
